Messiah [collection] : an oratorio / composed by G.F. Handel. 1800-1835.

Arranged in three groups: I. Scores (2). II. Vocal scores (1). III. Orchestra parts (8). A collection of music materials engraved in London in the early nineteenth century. Although virtually identical in format, the two scores derive from different printers (Bland & Wellers; Preston). Dr. John Clarke arranged the keyboard part of the vocal score (Jones & Co., 1835). The orchestra parts, published by J. Alfred Novello (n.d.) include Mozart's accompaniments (printed) and some handwritten annotations. The set is incomplete, lacking all string parts.
